The rubber compound sector has grown systematically over the last few years, due to the specialisation of rubber companies.

Old rubber plants have become specialised in single processes (moulding and extrusion etc). They no longer manufacture compounds, which are increasingly considered another speciality.

This situation permits improved productivity, process automation, amortise investments (which could no longer be done by independent parts manufacturer), and concentrate volumes in order to reduce costs.

Consequently, the rubber compound manufacturing companies are a necessary link in the future of the rubber industry. We must continue to make every effort to obtain the investment demanded by the market.
